Type Tests
Main switchboards, distribution boards and motor control centres have been type tested at independent testing stations to verify short circuit capacity, arc fault containment and temperature rise limits. Ansir Switchboards has conducted a number of type tests through independent testing stations to verify:
- Rated Short Time Withstand Current to 63kA for 1 Second
- Rated Short Time Withstand Current to 50kA for 3 Seconds
- Temperature Rise Limits to AS-1136.1-1988
- Internal Arching Fault Tests to AS-3439.1 Appendix EE
